English women
The English Woman’s Journal was a pioneering feminist publication made primarily for and by women. It was at the forefront of the suffrage and property reform campaigns, but deliberately served as a platform for an unusually wide range of issues including women’s education, employment and emigration. Its focus on specifically women’s issues signalled a new departure in feminist journalism, campaigning and organization.
