View comments [0] Gregorio Regio c.1595 (bound 1606) Manuscript This is thought to be the oldest herbarium in Britain. It consists of specimens gathered in Northern Italy by a Capuchin monk, Gregorio Reggio, and was later acquired in Italy by the English botanist William Sherard.
